How to style flared jeans in Winter 2021?
How to style flared jeans that became the latest winner in denim trends? With the ’70s being the strong inspiration for designers for the last seasons, it shouldn’t be a big surprise that the bell cut is taking over! Flared jeans work wonder and manipulate body proportions by creating a perfect hourglass shape and add few inches to the height (unfortunately only visually). No wonder that all the fashion editors and bloggers get crazy about them this season.
I styled mine black flared jeans with a leather jacket found in a local second shop (men’s section), Staud Moon Bag and Chloé Betty Rain Boots and Le Specs vintage inspired sunnies from 2 years ago (similar here and here).
I also love to style them with oversized shirt, trench and leather black boots and spice it up with a chunky chain necklace for a more classic every-day look.

My greatest tip on how to style flared jeans would be: pair them with high heeled boots for an extra elevation. Flare jeans visually elongate the silhouette and their leg length is constructed to be longer than usual jeans. To avoid dragging hems on the floor I always aim for a slight heel.
I love styling high waisted flared jeans with body or top of a similar colour to keep the silhouette consistent. As tempting as cropped top seems in this situation, it can create a line that cuts the torso visually. This can actually make your body seem shorter and bulkier.
Oversized blazer or leather jacket is another perfect way to elevate the doorbell shape of your flared jeans.
